Founded in 1910 in Belgium, Extensa Group is committed to creating communities based on respecting the interests of all stakeholders. Ongoing projects include larger urban and suburban residential communities, mixed use developments as extensions to the urban fabric and urban regeneration projects, and retail and leisure/entertainment facilities. In some of these projects Extensa Group has teamed up with other developers or with local authorities. The project pipeline consists of more than 1,000,000 m2.

For each individual project, Extensa Group contracts the best local and international professionals to obtain attractive designs, creative content and advanced legal and financial structures. Extensa’s methodology, based on risk management and continuous benchmarking, allows it to operate confidently with diversified products and geographical markets. Very active in Belgium since its establishment, Extensa has realized numerous projects, both in the residential and office markets, with the aim of creating livable communities. The quality of the regeneration of the historical Tour & Taxis site in Brussels was recognized in 2008 by the Europa Nostra foundation.
Exporting our expertise
Since 2001, Extensa Group has taken up the challenge to enter several international markets. In Luxemburg City, Extensa Group is a partner to a sizeable mixed-use development scheme, a future extension of the city. In Slovakia, Extensa Group teams up with local partners in Top Development, the developer of a retail and business park project in Trnava, opposite the Peugeot-Citroën production plant. Further to its participation in the successful roll-out of retail parks in secondary Romanian cities through the Belrom partnership, Extensa Romania now also has residential and office projects under development.
Our development in Turkey
Extensa set up a joint venture with local partners. In the course of 2007 several land acquisitions were made in the Bomonti neighborhood of Şişli (Istanbul) and two residential concepts, with a total of 200 apartments, are under development.

Aside from its real estate development activities, Extensa Group holds 29.23% of the Leasinvest REIT (also listed on Euronext). This investment trust owns a real estate portfolio in Belgium and Luxemburg estimated at €500 million.
